Serving Arizona buyers from both Utah lots
Forest River Cherokee Timberwolf 20OG Destination Trailers for Sale to Arizona Buyers
Nine 2026 Timberwolf 20OG destination trailers are on the ground right now at The RV Store of Utah in Logan and Helper. Sleeps 8, 36 feet of length, two lofts, an RV king bed, a covered rear deck and dual air conditioning. We deliver to Phoenix, Tucson, Yuma, Lake Havasu, Prescott, Show Low and every point in between.
Why Arizona shoppers keep calling a Utah dealer about the 20OG
The calls we get from Mesa, Surprise, Casa Grande or Sierra Vista tend to start the same way. Somebody found a seasonal site at an RV resort, they have a spot reserved for the winter or a lot of their own out past the city, and they want a trailer that lives like a small cabin instead of something they have to break camp with every weekend. That is exactly the job the Cherokee Timberwolf 20OG was built to do.
Arizona has an enormous number of long term and seasonal RV sites. Quartzsite fills up every January. The Yuma foothills turn into a small city between November and March. Apache Junction, Mesa, Casa Grande, Benson and Lake Havasu City all run parks where people hold a site for months at a stretch. A destination trailer is the right piece of equipment for that kind of stay, and the 20OG is one of the few in its size class that sleeps eight people without feeling like a bunkhouse.
The reason people find us instead of a lot closer to home usually comes down to two things. The first is inventory depth. We stocked this floorplan heavy for the 2026 model year, so instead of one unit in one color you get a choice of nine, split across our Logan store in northern Utah and our Helper store in Carbon County. The second is price. We stocked this floorplan deep and we price it aggressively, which is why our sale pricing on the 20OG has been running in the high thirties and low forties against a manufacturer suggested price up in the sixties and seventies. Even after you factor in getting it home to Arizona, the math tends to work in your favor.
We also deliver. We service clients all over the world and offer nationwide delivery anywhere in the USA or Canada, so if you see a stock number on this page that you like, you can get it delivered to you rather than making the drive up. The whole purchase can be handled remotely, with paperwork by email and courier and the trailer meeting you at your site.
What the Cherokee Timberwolf 20OG actually is
The 20OG belongs to the Mini Loft series inside the Cherokee Timberwolf destination trailer lineup from Forest River. Think of a destination trailer as the middle ground between a travel trailer and a park model. It rides on a standard towable frame with two axles and a bumper pull hitch, so it is legal to move down the highway behind a truck, but it is built and equipped for staying put. Residential sized appliances, taller ceilings, real windows, and a floorplan that gives you separated living space instead of one open box.
What sets the 20OG apart from the rest of the Mini Loft group is that it is the larger sibling of the 16ML. Same idea, more room. You get a bigger bathroom, a proper RV king bed in the lower master, and a front loft with a queen bed plus a twin bunk mat. There is a second loft on top of that, which most people use for kids, extra bedding, or as a storage area for chairs, totes and gear you do not want eating up your floor space.
The covered rear deck is the piece that sells the unit for a lot of Arizona buyers. It is a real outdoor room built into the trailer, shaded, with the loft sitting above it. In a climate where you spend eight months of the year living outside and the other four hiding from the sun, having a covered patio attached to your trailer rather than a pop up canopy staked into caliche is a meaningful upgrade.
Walking the 20OG floorplan from the door back
Come through the main entry door and you land in the living and kitchen area. This is where the 20OG earns its keep for people who cook and eat in their trailer rather than treating it as a place to sleep between trips. There is an 18 cubic foot refrigerator, which is a residential size and not the little two door unit you find in most towables. A three burner high output cooktop sits under a flush mount range cover so you get your counter space back when you are done. A farm sink comes with a cutting board, drying rack, strainer and cup washer, and the counters are solid surface with a pull out sprayer faucet.
Seating is a hide-a-bed sofa plus a high top table with two stools. The sofa is the eighth sleeping spot when the family shows up. Windows run large on all sides, and every one of them is solar reflective thermo controlled tinted safety glass. That matters more in Arizona than almost anywhere, and I will come back to it.
The bathroom is split. Shower on one side with a seat in it, private toilet and sink area directly across. Two people can get ready at the same time without waiting on each other, which is the difference between a trailer that works for a family of six and one that starts arguments by day three.
The lower master holds an RV king bed with premium bedding. Up front, a ladder gets you into the loft over the covered deck, where you have a queen bed and a twin bunk mat. The second loft is the flex space. Owners use it as a kids room, a reading nook or a gear locker. Washer and dryer availability is also listed on this unit, so if you plan on a long seasonal stay you are not driving into town every Sunday with a laundry basket.
Outside you get an outdoor shower with hot and cold water, an outside kitchen, an exterior storage door, an LP quick connect for a grill, a full length power awning and an LED light strip under the awning. The Wolf Pup quick jack, stable step with an oversized landing and a 26 inch wide entry door round it out.

How the 20OG holds up to an Arizona summer
I have sold RVs long enough to know that the specification sheet items people ignore in a showroom are the ones that decide whether they are happy in July. In Arizona, those items are cooling, glass, insulation and tank protection. Here is where the 20OG lands on each.
Two air conditioners as standard, not as an upcharge
The 20OG ships with two 13.5K BTU low profile air conditioners for 27,000 BTU of total cooling across a 36 foot box. A lot of trailers this length come with one unit and offer the second as a factory option you have to catch at order time. Two units means you can run the front loft and the main living area independently, and it means that when it hits 112 in Casa Grande you have a fighting chance of holding a livable temperature rather than watching one compressor run nonstop and never catch up.
Glass that fights the sun
Every window is solar reflective thermo controlled tinted safety glass. Add night shades and light filtering sheer shading behind them, and on the Black Label option package you move up to deep tinted frameless automotive glass. Radiant heat coming through untreated glass is the single biggest cooling load in a parked trailer. The Black Label package also adds thermo foil arctic insulation and wall controlled power shades for the living room and kitchen, which is worth asking about if the unit is going to sit in full sun on a site with no mature shade.
A roof built to reflect heat
The Tufflex PVC seamless roof membrane is heat reflective and carries a lifetime limited warranty. One piece decked roof underneath it. In a state where UV punishes everything on the top side of an RV, a single piece membrane with no seams to fail is the right construction for a unit that is going to sit in one place for years.
Tankless water heater
On demand tankless means you are not keeping six gallons hot around the clock in 100 degree ambient temperatures, and you are not running out of hot water when four people shower back to back after a day at the lake.
Twelve volt tank heaters for the high country
Arizona is not all desert, and buyers headed for Flagstaff, Show Low, Pinetop, Greer, Alpine or Prescott need to know the unit handles a freeze. The 20OG carries 12 volt tank heaters, a 30,000 BTU furnace and the option for arctic insulation. Flagstaff averages around 100 inches of snow a year. That is not a place for a three season trailer.
Nine 2026 Timberwolf 20OG units available now
Five of these sit at our Logan store in northern Utah and four are at our Helper store in Carbon County. Every one of them can be delivered to Arizona. Pricing shown was current at the time this page went up and moves with our promotions, so call and confirm the number on the stock you are interested in.
Which one should an Arizona buyer look at first? If price is the deciding factor, stock 1121 in Logan and stock RVS4881 in Helper are the two sitting under forty thousand. If you want the shortest haul south, the Helper units on Highway 6 put you on the I-70 to I-15 run toward Arizona without crossing the Salt Lake valley. All nine share the same floorplan.
Getting a 20OG from Utah to your Arizona site
There are three ways this normally goes, and none of them require you to figure it out alone.
We deliver it
We offer nationwide delivery throughout the USA and Canada. You pick the stock number, we quote the delivery to your address, park or storage lot, and the trailer shows up. Out of Helper the run is roughly 330 miles to Page, 460 to Flagstaff, 570 to Phoenix and 680 to Tucson. Out of Logan add about another 200 miles. Delivery depends on your exact address and access, so ask for a quote when you call.
You tow it home
If you have the truck for it, this is the cheapest route and plenty of our Arizona customers do it. Plan on a two day trip with an overnight. From Logan it is I-15 south the whole way to St George and across the line. From Helper you take US-6 to I-70 west and pick up I-15 south at Cove Fort. Either way it is a straightforward run, though you will want to be honest with yourself about grades. If you are coming through Flagstaff on I-17 heading south into the valley, that descent is long and steep and you want your brake controller set right before you start it.
You hire a transporter
Independent RV transporters run this corridor constantly and will often quote competitively. Just make sure whoever you hire carries cargo insurance that covers the full value of the unit.
Registering an out of state purchase in Arizona
Buying from a Utah dealer does not create a problem for an Arizona resident. You register the trailer in Arizona through the ADOT Motor Vehicle Division at your home address and you pay Arizona tax and fees rather than Utah sales tax. We handle the paperwork side of an out of state delivery routinely, including the manufacturer statement of origin and the temporary permit you need to move the unit legally.
If the trailer is going to live permanently on a site and never move again, it is still titled and registered as a travel trailer. It does not become a manufactured home. That distinction matters for property tax purposes and it is worth confirming with your park before you sign a long term site agreement.
What it takes to tow a 20OG
The 20OG is a conventional bumper pull, not a fifth wheel. Dry weight is 8,294 pounds, hitch weight is 1,075 pounds and GVWR is 11,275 pounds. Cargo carrying capacity comes out to 2,981 pounds, which is generous for the class and means you are not immediately over your limit once you load water, propane, bedding and gear.
For a realistic tow rating target, do not shop against the dry weight. Shop against the GVWR. You want a truck comfortably rated above 11,275 pounds with the receiver and hitch capacity to match, because the day you move it you will likely have the fresh tank at least partly full and everything you own inside it.
In practice that means a three quarter ton truck. A well equipped half ton with the max tow package can physically do it, and some people run that combination, but at 36 feet long and 13 feet 6 inches tall this trailer presents a lot of sail area to a crosswind, and the desert stretch between St George and Phoenix will show you exactly how much. A weight distributing hitch with sway control is not optional equipment on this unit, it is a requirement. Budget for one if you do not have it.
Two other numbers worth checking before you commit. The 13 foot 6 inch height is standard interstate legal clearance in the west, but it will exclude you from a few older underpasses and most drive throughs, so plan your fuel stops around truck lanes. And the 35 foot 8 inch length exceeds the site length limit at some older parks. Call your park and ask for their maximum length before you buy, not after.
Use our tow guides to check what your truck can pull. If you tell us what you drive, we will tell you straight whether it is enough for this trailer. Nobody wins when a customer takes home a unit their truck cannot safely move.
Financing, trades and protection for out of state buyers
Being in Arizona does not change how our finance department works. The credit application is the same one our Utah customers fill out. Advertised payments on the 20OG start from $344 per month depending on the stock number, term, down payment and credit approval. Those are estimates for illustration and are not an offer of credit, but they give you a working number for your budget.
You can start with the credit application on this site and have an answer back before you ever commit to a unit. That is the order I recommend. Know your number first, then shop the stock list, then negotiate. It puts you in a much stronger position than falling in love with a floorplan and finding out afterward what you qualify for.
Trading in from Arizona
We take trades from out of state buyers. Send photos, the year, make, model and VIN, and be honest about condition including anything soft, any delamination and the age of the tires and roof. We will give you a number. If we are delivering your new 20OG, ask about collecting the trade on the same trip.
Paint and fabric protection
This one is more relevant in Arizona than in most markets. UV exposure is the number one killer of RV exterior finish and interior fabrics in the southwest. Our paint and fabric protection program is worth a conversation if the unit is going to sit outdoors year round without cover. So is a good quality cover or a site with a ramada over it.
Where Arizona owners are putting these trailers
The 20OG works anywhere you have a site with 30 or 50 amp service, water and sewer, and enough length for a 36 foot trailer plus the tow vehicle. Here is how our Arizona customers have been using them.
Winter seasonal sites in the low desert
Yuma, Quartzsite, Casa Grande, Apache Junction, Mesa and Benson. This is the classic snowbird use case and the one the 20OG is built for. You take a site from October or November through March or April, the trailer stays put, and you go home to it. The dual air conditioning gives you a longer season on both ends than a single unit trailer would, which matters when the shoulder months in Yuma still run into the nineties.
Summer escapes on the Mogollon Rim
Payson, Pine, Strawberry, Christopher Creek, Show Low, Pinetop-Lakeside, Greer and Alpine. Valley residents who keep a site up on the Rim for the summer are a natural fit for this floorplan. You leave 115 in Phoenix and drive two hours to 80. With the furnace and tank heaters in this unit you can stretch that season into late fall.
River and lake sites
Lake Havasu City, Parker, Bullhead City and the Colorado River corridor generally, plus Roosevelt Lake, Lake Pleasant and Alamo Lake. The outside kitchen, outdoor shower with hot and cold water and the covered rear deck get used hard at a river site.
Private land and guest quarters
A fair number of buyers put one of these on their own acreage outside Prescott, Cottonwood, Chino Valley, Wickenburg, Sierra Vista or Tucson and use it as guest quarters, a rental, or a place to live while they build. Sleeping eight in a legally towable trailer with a split bathroom is hard to beat for that job. Check your county zoning first, because rules on occupying an RV on private land vary quite a bit across Arizona counties.
Questions Arizona buyers ask us about the 20OG
Can I buy a 20OG from Utah if I live in Arizona?
Yes. We sell to buyers in every state and offer nationwide delivery across the USA and Canada. You register the trailer in Arizona through ADOT MVD and pay Arizona taxes and fees rather than Utah sales tax. We prepare the manufacturer statement of origin and the temporary movement permit as part of the sale.
How many people does the Timberwolf 20OG sleep?
Eight. The lower master has an RV king bed. The front loft has a queen bed plus a twin bunk mat. The living area has a hide-a-bed sofa. The second loft can be set up as additional sleeping space if you need it, or used for storage.
Will two air conditioners keep it cool in Phoenix or Yuma?
The unit carries 27,000 BTU of cooling across two 13.5K low profile units, plus solar reflective thermo controlled tinted glass, night shades and a heat reflective roof membrane. That combination handles a low desert summer far better than a single air conditioner trailer. If the unit will sit in full sun with no shade structure, ask us about the Black Label package, which adds deep tinted frameless glass, thermo foil arctic insulation and power shades.
What truck do I need to tow it?
Plan around the 11,275 pound GVWR rather than the 8,294 pound dry weight. A three quarter ton truck with a weight distributing hitch and sway control is the sensible answer. Hitch weight is 1,075 pounds. At 36 feet long and 13 feet 6 inches tall this is a big trailer in a crosswind, so do not undertruck it.
Is a destination trailer the same as a park model?
No. A park model is generally built to a different standard, is often wider than 8 feet 6 inches and is not designed for regular highway travel. The 20OG is a standard 8 foot wide towable travel trailer on two axles with a bumper pull hitch. It is titled and registered as a travel trailer, and you can legally tow it down the interstate any day you want to move it.
Can I live in it full time?
Plenty of people do, and the residential sized refrigerator, washer and dryer availability, split bathroom and separated sleeping areas make it more livable for that than most towables its size. Whether you are allowed to depends on your park rules or your county zoning, not on the trailer.
How does the loft work? Is there enough headroom?
You reach the front loft by ladder. It sits over the covered rear deck and holds a queen bed with a twin bunk mat alongside. It is designed as a sleeping loft rather than a standing room, so you sit up in it rather than walk around. The second loft is the same idea and most owners treat it as flexible space for kids, bedding or gear.
What is the difference between the 20OG and the 16ML?
The 20OG is the larger version of the same concept. Bigger bathroom, RV king bed in the lower master rather than a smaller bed, and a second loft on top of the front loft. If you liked the 16ML but wished it had more room, the 20OG is the answer.
Can I see it before I buy if I am in Arizona?
Yes. Every one of these units has a virtual tour, a 360 view and a large photo gallery on its stock page. Ask us about a live video walkthrough with a salesperson in the trailer. If you would rather come up, both stores are worth the trip, and ask about holding a unit while you travel.
How long will these last on the lot?
The 20OG moves quickly, and we are into the back half of the 2026 model year. Nine units can go faster than it sounds. If a specific stock number matters to you, call and ask about holding it rather than waiting.
